SOLUTION: Hi,
I don't understand this problem. it says solve for y in terms of x. {{{.5e^(2y)=x^3+2}}}i tried multiplying each side by 2 and take the ln of each side ending with 2y=ln(2x^3+

Question 50956: Hi,
I don't understand this problem. it says solve for y in terms of x. i tried multiplying each side by 2 and take the ln of each side ending with 2y=ln(2x^3+4) but then got stuck. please help Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! 0.5e^(2y)=x^3+2
Multiply thru by 2 to get:
e^(2y)=2x^3+4
Take the natural log to get:
2y=ln(2x^3+4)
y=ln[(2x^3+4)]^(1/2)
