Why do you find it necessary to shout?

If the two aircraft are flying directly towards one another, it doesn't matter whether one is going 200 mph and the other 400 or if one is parked on the tarmac and the other is going 600 mph. So the question becomes a simple matter of: How long does it take to travel 300 miles at 600 miles per hour?
