SOLUTION: (1/3)(x-6)=(-2/5)x+(14/15)
Multiply thru by 15 to get:
5(x-6)=-6x+14
5x-30=-6x+14
11x=44
x=4
So what I've done is:
1/3x-2=-2/5x+14/15
+2
----------- ------
1/3x=-2/5x

Question 50903: (1/3)(x-6)=(-2/5)x+(14/15)
Multiply thru by 15 to get:

11x=44
x=4
So what I've done is:
1/3x-2=-2/5x+14/15

1/3x=-2/5x+44/15
From here I don't know what to do. I'm terrible at fractions! Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! (1/3)(x-6)=(-2/5)x+(14/15)
Multiply thru by 15 to get:
5(x-6)=-6x+14
5x-30=-6x+14
11x=44
x=4
