You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Width = 6x - 6y ft
Length = 8x - 4y ft
Area of rectangle = Width * Length
Area of rectangle =(6x - 6y)(8x - 4y)
Area of rectangle =(6x ) (8x - 4y)- 6y(8x - 4y)
Area of rectangle =48x^2 – 24xy-48xy +24y^2
Area of rectangle =48x^2 +24y^2 –72xy
Area of rectangle =48x^2 –72xy +24y^2 (Square feet)
