You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-3%2Bx=-2x%2B6 Start with the given equation.

x=-2x%2B6%2B3 Add 3 to both sides.

x%2B2x=6%2B3 Add 2x to both sides.

3x=6%2B3 Combine like terms on the left side.

3x=9 Combine like terms on the right side.

x=%289%29%2F%283%29 Divide both sides by 3 to isolate x.

x=3 Reduce.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-3 + x = 2x + 6
-3 + x - x = 2x + 6 -x
-3 = x +6
-6 -3 = x + 6 - 6
-9 = x
