opposite of the 1st expression a negative outside the bracket
-(−4x2 + 2x)
the neg outside the brackets changes the sign inside the brackets
(4x^2 - 2x)
:
change to a positive outside the brackets
+(−5x2 + 2x3 + 3)
a positive leaves the signs unchanged
