You can put this solution on YOUR website! x+3y=6 or puting this equation in the normal line format (y=mx+b) we get
3y=-x-6 or y=-x/3-2 thus you have a line with a slope (m) of -1/3 & a y intercept (b) of -2 you now have one point (0,-2) now set y=0 we get 0=-x/3-2 or -x/3=2 or x/3=-2 or x=-6 now we have a second point(-6,0)
plot these two points, draw a line through them and you have a line with a slope of -1/3 with a y intercept of -2
