Then 2nd person received "2x-1" dollars.
And 3rd person received "2x+10" dollars.
EQUATION:
x+2x-1+2x+10=224 dollars
5x=215
x=$43 (1st person amount)
2x-1=$85 (2nd person amount)
2x+10=$96 (3rd person amount)
