Raise both sides to the 3%2F2 power, in order to end up with x%5E1

x%5E%282%2F3%29=16
%28x%5E%282%2F3%29%29%5E%283%2F2%29=16%5E%283%2F2%29

At this point, you must know what a fractional exponent means:
x%5E%28m%2Fn%29+ means root%28n%2Cx%29%5Em

So, a number raised to the 3/2 power means to take the square root of the number, and then raise to the 3 power!! Did you know that? That is a separate lesson to itself!!
