Question 504607: In the right triangle give the length not given. Give an exact answer and an approximation to three decimal places.
a=11
b=11
c?
This is what I got so far:
11^2+11^2=c^2=
121+121=c^2=
242=c^2=
c sqrt242=
11 sqrt2
I checked this and it is correct so far according to the mathlab. The problem I am having is figuring out how to get an approximate value to three decimal points. It says to use a calculator to get the answer but I have no clue how to do it. Can someone please help me???? Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source):
