You can put this solution on YOUR website! a tennis ball is projected upward at a speed of 96 feet per second. What is the maximum height that it reaches?
-------------
height = -16t^2+96t
This is a quadratic with a=-16 and b=96
The maximum point occurs at t=-b/2a= 96/32=3 seconds
At that time height = -16(3^2)+96(3)= 148.75 ft.
