Question 503510: Find the following:
A)Find equation of the line in slope intercept form
B) Standard form
Through the line (-4,2) and parallel to the line through (3,9) and (6,11)
First I plugged points into slope formula
11-9 = 2
6-3 = 3
m = 3/2
Next, I plug in m = slope into the slope intercept formula
y=mx+b
9=3/2 (3)+ b
This is where I seem to have problems from here on. Thank you

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Through the line (-4,2) and parallel to the line through (3,9) and (6,11)

change in y: 11-9 = 2
change in x: 6-3 = 3
m = 2/3
Next, I plug in m = slope into the slope intercept formula
y=mx+b
9=(2/3)(3)+ b
9 = 2 + b
b = 7

Equation:
y = (2/3)x + 7
