Question 500116: how do you multiply with exponents

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
THE PRODUCT RULE OF EXPONENTS
x to the m times x to the n equals x to the m+n
NOTICE THAT
The product rule of exponents only applies to exponential expressions with the same base. x^2*x^4=x^6 but x^2*y^4 cannot be further simplified.
When working with numerical bases, evaluate the exponent before doing the multiplication.
