Question 49998: Please help me I'm up against a deadline.
I'm a little confuse with which catagory these problems fit under< "derivation/solution" or "Combination/Permutation" and why the fit.

There are a pile of face cards,(no aces) with 3 face cards removed.
From the remaining pile,(9 face cards) the questions are:

1. How many ways of are there of selecting on of each face card from
the pile?
2. How may ways of selecting are there of selecting the queen of
clubs, then the king of diamonds and the jack of hearts?
3. How many ways to select 3 of the same face cards, 3jacks, 3queens,
and 3kings from the pile.
Thanks!!!!!!!!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
"with 3 face cards removed"
You can't answer any of your questions unless
you know which 3 face cards were removed.
