You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I do not understand how to do these types of equations at all. Here is an example problem. 7(2x-4)-(10-3x)Can you explain how to solve this?
---------------
It's not an equation, there's no equal sign.
So, there's nothing to solve.
----------
You should say, but I suppose you want to simplify it.
7(2x-4)-(10-3x)
-----
Look at the first term, 7(2x-4)
Multiply by the 7. Is that a mystery?
7(2x-4) = 7*2x - 7*4 = 14x-28
-----
14x-28 - (10-3x)
= 14x-28 -1*10 -1*(-3x)
= 14x-28 - 10 + 3x
= 17x - 38
