You can put this solution on YOUR website! Hello,
First let's get rid of the denominators by multiplying by 12 to get:
8+ 9K= 71 (Note: this is a bit confusing if the last term is 7 and 1/12 or 71/12
I'll solve it both ways)
9K=63
Divide by 9 to get:
K=63/9
8+9K= 85
Subtract 8 and divide by 9 to get:
K= 77/9
Make sense?
