You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Just subtract the cost from the revenue, pretty straightforward.

Profit = (6x^3 + 9x^2 - x - 2) - (3x^2 + 4x - 8) = 6x^3 - 6x^2 + 5x + 6

Note that you have to distribute the minus sign throughout.
