I am assuming that the base of our trianlge is one of the sides of the pentagon.
We can find the length of the base by the area formula for the trianlge:
area = 1/2(base)(height)
24 = 1/2 base * 6
48 = (8)(6)
Therefore, our base is 8 cm.
This is also the side of the pentagon.
We will multiply be 5 since there are 5 sides.
To find the perimeter when we know a side, it is 8 * 5 = 40 cm.
