I will assume the shaded region is the region of the circle not included in our rectangle.
The area of the circle is pi*radius^2.
pi*10^2 = 314.16 ft.
=============================================================================
The area of our rectangle is 5 * 6 feet or 30 feet.
So the area of the circle without the rectangle will be 314.16 feet - 30 feet or 284.16 feet.
