Question 496613: Problem: The measure of an angle is 20 less than the measure of its supplement. Find the measure of the angle, the measure of its supplement, and the meaure of its complement.
If possible, will you also please show me how you set up the equation to solve this because I would like to learn how to do problems similar to this one as well.
I mainly don't understand how to find the compliment after I solved it for the supplement, but if you could show how to work the whole problem that would be great so I can make sure that I know how to solve this problem correctly.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x + x + 20 = 180.
2x = 160
x = 80 degrees, this is the angle.
The supplement is 180 - 80 = 100 degrees.
80 degrees + 20 degrees = 100 degrees, so this does check.
The complement is 90 degrees - 80 degrees = 10 degrees, this is our complement.
