Question 496160: "Sketch a triangle similar to triangle X with an area that is 1/4 the area of triangle X." The area of triangle X is 12.5. How would you find the dimensions of the new triangle? Answer by cleomenius(959) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Since these are simiiiar triangls, the sides will be 1/2 the original triangle,
since when you multiply two dimensions of 1/2 the original size will produce a result in of 1/4 the original area.
