You can
put this solution on YOUR website!
2^x3^y = 1296, what is the value of x + y?
Divide 1296 by 2 to get 648
Divide by 2 to get 324
divide by 2 to get 162
Divide by 2 to get 81
81 is 3^4
So 1296 is (2^4)(3^4)
Therefore x+y=8
