Question 495913: I saw an object travel approximately 30 miles in less that 5 seconds.. just curious how fast the objects were traveling.. fyi .. it was shockingly fast... both traveling west to east.. one flying in a straight line.. the other flying in a serpentine formation at the same speed and direction until they seperated on the horizon and disapeared... :) pretty cool to see... just wondering how fast they could have been traveling..they were slightly slower than the shooting stars were were watching... You can put this solution on YOUR website! mi /sec * sec/hr = 21,600 mi/hr
Traveling that fast in the atmosphere, I would think
that they would burn up. Did they get brighter?
