You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Four semicircle are constructed on the sides of a rhombus.
If the total distance around the figure is 88cm, what is the perimeter of the square?
:
A rhombus has 4 equal sides so all 4 semicircles are equal also
4 semi circles as equal to 2 circles, using the circumference of 1 circle, find the diameter of the circles
pi%2Ad = 44
d = 44%2Fpi
d ~ 14 cm also the length of the sides of the rhombus
4(14) = 56 cm is the perimeter of the rhombus, (where did the square come from?)
