You can put this solution on YOUR website! Solve 5^x-2 = 3^3x+2 for x
**
5^(x-2) = 3^(3x+2)
take log of both sides
(x-2)log5=(3x+2)log3
(x-2)/(3x+2)=log3/log5=.6826
x-2=.6826(3x+2)=2.0478x+1.3652
1.0478x=-3.3652
x=-3.3652/1.0478=-3.2117
Check:
5^(x-2)=5^(-5.2117)=.0002
3^(3x+2)=3^(-7.6351)=.0002
