Question 490616: what is a real number in algebra 2?
Answer by richard1234(7193) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! A real number is simply a (one-dimensional, unlike complex) number that can be found on a number line. For example, 5, -4.8, pi/2, sqrt(3), 8.220184..., etc.
The phrase "in algebra 2" is not needed because real numbers are not uniquely found in algebra 2.
