The answer my textbook gives (in interval notation) is: (-1/4, 5/9]
I have tried several different ways of solving this problem but have not been successful. I would greatly appreciate any help you can provide.

9x<=5
x <= 5/9

Solve: 5-7x < 7+x
8x > -2
x > -1/4

Solution
-1/4 < x <= 5/9
