Question 489852: What is the period of f(x)=5tan(2x)
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! What is the period of f(x)=5tan(2x)
----
The usual period for tan is (pi)
But, because the "x" is multiplied by 2, tan
goes thru its value range at double speed.
So the period is shortened to:
Period = (pi)/2
