A vertical radio tower is located on the top of a hill that has ab angle if elivation of 10 degree .A 70-foot guy wire is attached to tower 45 feet abover the hill.

c) How far from the base of the is the guy wire anchored to the hill ?

You can put this solution on YOUR website! A vertical radio tower is located on the top of a hill that has an angle of elivation of 10 degree. A 70-foot guy wire is attached to tower 45 feet above the hill.

Draw a triangle that has a 10 degree angle at the right end
of the base and a right angle at the left end of the base.
------------------
Let the vertical side opposite the 10 degree angle be "x".
----
Draw a line segment as an extension of "x" (that represents
the tower at the top of the hill). That extension is 45' high
------------------
Put that 70' guy wire from the top of the pole to some point
on the hill.
