Two lines that intersect will form four angles, the angles opposite each other are
vertical angles.
The adjacent angles will form a straight angle of 180 degrees, so the opposite angles will each form a straight line with the same angle.
Therefore, they will be equal.
If an angle measures 54 degrees, the opposite vertical angle formed by two straight lines will also be 54 degrees.
