The GCF of 4x%5E2 and 20x is 4x. So we can factor out the GCF 4x from 4x%5E2%2B20x to get 4x%28x%2B5%29


So 4x%5E2%2B20x=4x%28x%2B5%29


We check our answer by distributing the 4x back through. Notice how 4x times x is 4x%5E2 and how 4x times 5 is 20x. So this confirms our answer.
