Question 486624: Please help me with this inequality. I am not quite sure how to do it.
3y+1<=5y-1<4(y+1)
First I distributed and got
3y+1<=5y-1<4y+4
This problem has the y variable on all 3 sides, so I am not sure what to do from there.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3y+1<=5y-1<4y+4
3y+1<=5y-1
1<=2y-1
2<=2y
1<=y
5y-1<4y+4
y-1<4
y<5
1%3C=y%3C5
