You can put this solution on YOUR website! 54 is 5 tens + 4 ones.
5 / 3 is 1 ten with 2 tens left over.
2 tens + 4 ones is 24 ones.
24 / 3 = 8 (ones).
So the answer is 1 ten and 8 DISABLED_event_ones= 18.
Note that all the divisions are from the single digit mult table, so that using it and the distributive property (and power notation of numbers) is all one needs.
You can put this solution on YOUR website! 54 divided by 3 is 18. The distributive property is the property that a(b+c) = ab + ac, in other words, the a "distributes" over b+c.
