You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let x chickens
Let y sheep
system%28x%2By=68%2C2x%2B4y=270%29
divide the second equation by 2
system%28x%2By=68%2Cx%2B2y=135%29
subtract the first equation from the second
y=67 sheep
Substitute y=67 into the first equation
x%2B67=68
x=1chicken
A farmer has 1 chicken and 67 sheep
