Question 483489: Hello from New Zealand. I have tried all different ways of using a normal calculator to answer my question. I am not at all confident my various methods have been correct. So here is my case.
I own 4.4 shares the total shares in the land amount to 19815.86.....shares.
there are 984 owners included as shareholders of 375.2546... hectares of land.
How much land given my 4.4 shares do I own in this Group Block of Land.
I dont know because my Mum died and I am her beeficiary, she had said to build a family cottage on the land. The land has trustees administering it and I will apply to them but don't want to approach them til I know what I am really entitled to. Thankyou so much, Friendly New Zealander, Wendy Etherington

0.0222% Oof 375.2546 hectares = 0.083323 hectares

I think that's what you mean, but it's not completely clear.

If all the shares have equal value you own
[(4.4)/(19815.86)] = 0.0833231684 hectares of land

That is 0.0833231684/0.00001 = 8332.316841 square meters
or a plot 91.28152519 meters by 91.28152519 meters
