You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3x-5+2x-3+15-x=35
4x+10=35
4x=25
x=25/4..

On this problem my answer was 7 was I wrong?
Because when I check my work and put in 7 it equals out.
3(7)-5+2(7)-3+15-(7)=35
21-5+14-3+15-7=35
16+11+8=35

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
you have a triangle, sides length:
a=15-x
b=23x-3
c=3x-5
The perimeter of that triangle is 35ft;

so, the perimeter is P=a%2Bb%2Bc
35=%2815-x%29%2B%2823x-3%29%2B%283x-5%29
35=15-x%2B23x-3%2B3x-5
35=7%2B25x
35-7=25x
28=25x
28%2F25=x
1.12=x

now find:
a=15-x...->...a=15-1.12..->...a=13.88
b=23x-3...->...b=23%2A1.12-3 ...->...b=25.76-3...->...b=22.76
c=3x-5...->...c=3%2A1.12-5...->...c=3.36-5..->...c=-1.64

check:

the perimeter is P=a%2Bb%2Bc
35=13.88%2B22.76-1.64
35=36.64-1.64
35=35

You can put this solution on YOUR website!

(3x - 5) + (15 - x) + (2x - 3) = 35

3x - 5 + 15 - x + 2x - 3 = 35

3x - x + 2x - 5 + 15 - 3 = 35

4x + 7 = 35

4x = 28

x = 28%2F4 or highlight%287%29 units

Side that's "3x - 5" = 3(7) - 5 = 21 - 5 = highlight_green%2816%29 units.

Side that's "15 - x" = 15 - 7 = highlight_green%288%29 units.

Side that's "2x - 3" = 2(7) - 3 = 14 - 3 = highlight_green%2811%29 units.

-----------
Check
-----------
Perimeter = 16 + 8 + 11 = 35 units
