the slope will be the same as the line but will have a different y-intercept.
slope intercept form of the equation of a line is y = mx + b
m is the slope
b is the y intercept
your line has a slope of (1/2) and a y intercept of -7
your parallel line will have a slope of (1/2) but a different y intercept.
something like:
y = (1/2)x + 7 will do the trick.
