Father is 13 years more than twice of his son
f=2s+13 …………..(1)
6 years ago means subtract 6 from both ages then sum which is equal to 49
(f-6)+(s-6)=49
f-6+s-6=49
f-12+s=49
f+s=49+12 ………….(2)
Put the value of f from 1 into (2)
2s+13+s=61
3s=61-13
3s=48
s=48/3
s=16
f=2(16)+13
f=32+13
f=45
Father is 45 and son is 16 years old.
