the distance to travel will be 200+300= 500m. That is when the two trains completely cross each other.
They are 2km apart = 2000m
Total distance = 2500m
Since they are running towards each other the combined speed = 30+20 =50m/s
Distance /speed = time
2500/50= 50 seconds
