Question 48080: Can somebody please help me with figuring out how to write an complete factored form of a polynomial with the given hints?
Can I have the "coomplete factored form" and the "factored out form" so that I may atleast understand how it works?
it should have a
zero at -5 with an odd multiplicity
zero at -2 witn an even multplicity
zero at 1 with an even multiplcity
zero at 3 with an odd multiplicity
with y-intercept at 1
with an absolute exterma at -4.5
with local exterma at -.5, 2.5
What I got:
(-x-5)((x+5)^2)(x-1)^2)(x-3) I didn't put in equation format
but what I have does not match the picture they provide of what it should look like.
Can somebody help me with figuring out what constants I need to meet those the absolute and local extermas?
Thank you!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
zero at -5 with an odd multiplicity
zero at -2 witn an even multplicity
zero at 1 with an even multiplcity
zero at 3 with an odd multiplicity
with y-intercept at 1
with an absolute exterma at -4.5
with local exterma at -.5, 2.5

I think you would have to provide the graph you see for
anyone to be able to help you with this.
