You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Perimeter of a triangle=a%2Bb%2Bc
Let Largest side be=a
Let smallest side=b
3rd side=c

The largest is 4 inches less than twice the smallest
So, a=2%28b%29-4
The third is 10 inches longer than smallest
So, c=10%2Bb

P=a+b+c
substitute a and c in the above equation.
86=%282%28b%29-4%29%2Bb%2B%2810%2Bb%29
86=2b-4%2Bb%2B10%2Bb
86=4b%2B6
80=4b
4b=80
b=20
So smallest=20 inches.
The largesta=2%28b%29-4 a=2%2A20-4 Soa=36inches.
The 3rd sidec=10%2Bb c=10%2B20 So c=30inches.
