Given: Angle 1 is compliment to angle 2.
Prove: Angle ABC is a right angle.

Angle 1 + angle 2 + Angle 3 = 180 (angles of a triangle are supplementary)
Since angle 1 is complementary to angle 2, angle 1 + angle 2 = 90%5Eo
We can then say that:
90%5Eo + angle 3 = 180%5Eo
Angle 3 = 90%5Eo (180%5Eo - 90%5Eo)

Now, since angle 3 = 90%5Eo, it follows that that triangle ABC is a right triangle
