Question 480315: Will someone please help me with this one....
Solve using the elimination method. Show your work. If the system has no solution or an infinite number of solutions, state this.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-3x + 6y = -3
-6x + 4y = -10
---------------------
Multiply thru the 1st Equation by 2 to get:
-6x + 12y = -6
-6x + 4y = -10
------
Subtract and solve for "y":
8y = 4
y = 1/2
-----
Solve for "x":
-3x + 6y = -3
-3x + 6(1/2) = -3
-3x + 3 = -3
-3x = -6
x = 2
-------------
