: Could someone please tell me a "real life" situation where a straight line graph might be applicable snd why you think it may be true
what about a "real life" situation that follows a linear equation, with the independent variable being years. What would the slope tell you about future years?
I have had practice solving equations with one variable and equations with two variables. How are those kind of problems alike, how are they different and what if an equation had 3 variables?
My chapter 7 is an introduction to graphing so I am trying to piece it together
Thanks

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Simple interest is an example of a linear function.
Value = P + Prt
The independent variable is t and that is number of years.
