You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Find the slope-intercept form, standard form and point slope form of the equation of the line
described

A line with y-intercept of (0, -3) and x-intercept of (-5, 0)
------------------
If the y-int is (0,A) and the x-int is (B,0), the eqn is
Ax + By + AB = 0
------------
-3x - 5y + 15 = 0
3x + 5y = 15 standard form
----------
y = (-3/5)x + 3 slope-intercept form
--------------------------------
You can do it like this, too
Find the slope, m = diffy/diffx = 3/-5 = -3/5
Use y = mx + b and either point to find b (we'll pretend we don't know it)
-3 = (-3/5)*0 + b
b = -3
--> y = (-3/5)x - 3 slope-int form
3x + 5y = 15
