For the function defined by f(x)=5x-4, find a formula for f^-1(x).

You can put this solution on YOUR website! f(x)=5x-4
Find a formula for f^-1(x).
y=5x-4
Interchange x and y to get:
x=5y-4
Solve for y as follows:
5y=x+4
y=(1/5)x+(5/4)
That is f^-1
