You can
put this solution on YOUR website!
x1 y1 x2 y2
-1 -6 -4 -7
slope m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
( -7 - -6 )/( -4 - -1 )
( -1 / -3 )
m= 0.33 1/ 3
Plug value of the slope and point ( -1 , -6 ) in
Y = m x + b
-6.00 = -0.33 + b
b= -6 -0.33
b= -5.67
So the equation will be
Y = 0.33 x -5.67
