SOLUTION: Find the x & y intercepts of:
a.) {{{(x^2)/4 -(y^2)/9 = 1}}}
b.) {{{x^2+y^2 = 9}}}
can someone show me the process of how to find the x & y intercepts for the above?? thank

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Find the x & y intercepts of:
a.) (x^2)/4 -(y^2)/9 = 1
PUT Y=0 AND FIND X TO GET X INTERCEPTS
X^2/=1....X=+2..AND...-2...ARE THE 2 X INTERCEPTS.
PUT X=0 AND FIND Y TO GET X INTERCEPTS
Y^2/9=-1
Y^2=-9
Y IS IMAGINARY...HENCE THERE ARE NO Y INTERCEPTS.
b.) x^2+y^2 = 9
PUT Y=0
X=+3...AND -3 ARE THE X INTERCEPTS
PUT X=0
Y=+3...AND...-3 ARE THE Y INTERCEPTS.
