Question 477310: if f(x)+f(1/x) = x + 1/x +2 then find f(f(2))

You can put this solution on YOUR website! We know that f(x) + f(1/x) = x + 1/x + 2, not only for some x, but for all (nonzero) x. We could find some arbitrary function that works, e.g. f(x) = x+1 (this works for all x), in which f(f(2)) = 4.
Can you show that this works for any function f that satisfies the condition (if there even exists a function)?
