Question 477073: Im not sure how to solve a problem when it has letters squared. Like for example
1. (-2a^2b)(4a^2b^2) 2. -5x^2(4x-6) 3. (x-3)(x+5) 4. (2b+1)(b+4) 5. (y-7)^2
6. (x+12)(x-12). these all have letters squared i have no idea how to solve any of these or where to move them? If you could explain that and help me i would be so happy. Thank you for your time

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Im not sure how to solve a problem when it has letters squared. Like for example
1. (-2a^2b)(4a^2b^2)
%28-2a%5E2b%29%284a%5E2b%5E2%29
These two terms are multiplied. When you multiply, the exponents are added.
a%5E2%2Aa%5E2+=+a%5E%282%2B2%29+=+a%5E4
%28-2a%5E2b%29%284a%5E2b%5E2%29+=+-8a%5E4b%5E3
--------------------------------------
2. -5x^2(4x-6) = -20x%5E3+%2B+30x%5E2
---------------
3. (x-3)(x+5) 4. (2b+1)(b+4) 5. (y-7)^2
6. (x+12)(x-12). these all have letters squared i have no idea how to solve any of these or where to move them?

This is not "solving", you don't solve for anything. It's simplification, or multiplication.
